Founded in 2007 Winterthur, Switzerland. SIS Medical has always been and will still be dedicated to develop, produce and distribute innovative high performance PTCA Balloon Catheters which are designed to facilitate the daily work of the user, help to extent treatment options and to improve the quality of patients live.
Our target is to provide best in class devices for an optimal lesion preparation prior to stent (DES) implantation (including Scaffolds, BVS) in order to optimize long term clinical outcome.

In October 2015, the SHS Investment Group, Tübingen Germany; (www.shs-capital.eu) has become the major shareholder of SIS Medical AG.
SHS, founded in 1993 is an independent private equity company, located in Tübingen, Germany with the focus on investments in the MedTech and Life Sciences sector. SHS, with it's vast experience in this field is investing and supporting the development and growth of SIS Medical with the goal to transform a promising young company into a worldwide successfully operating entity.
As a first result of the new major shareholdership, SIS MEDICAL AG has moved in May 2016 to new facilities in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, establishing the base, for further successful growth with the target to become a leading company in the field of vascular interventions and to be represented worldwide.
